The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce will be acclaimed as a leader and catalyst in facilitating value for its members by optimizing their competitive viability in the regional, national, and global marketplaces.

Mission Statement

The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce is committed to providing broad-based economic value for its members and the international region.


Over the years, the Chamber has been involved with public policy issues that have successfully shaped the face of the San Diego we know and love. Balboa Park in 1868 was nothing more than 1,400 acres of sagebrush until the Chamber of Commerce, in 1909, raised the funds to create the park that we know today. Likewise, in 1962, the Chamber’s Harbor Committee helped pass the legislation needed to complete the construction of the Coronado Bay Bridge seven years later.

Today, the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce is still one of the most influential forces in local government and regional economic development. With more than 3,000 members, the Chamber of Commerce is actively involved in public policy and providing valuable resources to its members.

The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce is still the nonprofit business advocacy group that Alonzo Horton envisioned more than a century ago. With more than 130 years of experience, the Chamber offers unprecedented benefits, discounts, and opportunities to make San Diego businesses prosperous. The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce is excited to pave the way for a growing regional economy as we venture into the new millennium.

Big Brothers & Big Sisters

of San Diego, 2010 Golf Marathon

In its 17th year, the Golf Marathon has raised over $1 million to provide mentors to more than 800 children!

C3 Networx, in conjunction with its clients, is celebrating its 6th year of raising funds for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of San Diego by participating in the annual Golf Marathon. One of the event’s all-time top overall fundraisers, C3 Networx has raised nearly $40,000 to benefit local kids in need!

The event challenges golfers to play more than 100 holes of golf in one day while also raising funds to help match children who are waiting for a mentor from Big Brothers Big Sisters. Sadly, many kids wait a year or more to be matched. These funds help to expedite the process, provide for match overview support and counseling.

Top-Rated Charity

Charity Navigator has awarded Big Brothers Big Sisters of America a 4-star rating (out of 4) for organizational efficiency.

By supporting this event you can help make great things happen for local kids. Statistics reveal that positive relationships between youth and their Big Brothers and Big Sisters mentors have a direct and measurable impact on children’s lives. By participating in Big Brothers Big Sisters, Little Brothers and Sisters are:

More confident in their schoolwork performance
Able to get along better with their families
46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs
27% less likely to begin using alcohol
52% less likely to skip school.

Participating Golfers are encouraged to acquire as much sponsorship support as they can.  Each golfer commits to raise a minimum of $1,500 in sponsorship donations, but most golfers far exceed this amount.

Last year, when Microsoft and T-Mobile customers lost their ‘sidekick’ data many businesses re-thought their own data exposure.
